The Healthy Survivor Program

The Healthy Survivor is an 8-week program for cancer patients who have completed their initial treatments. Each of the eight classes meets for 2 hours once each week. The three components of the program are physical fitness, nutrition, and emotional coping skills. Classes are taught by Physical Therapists and Reigstered Dietitians from Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Alegent Mercy Hospital, and a Licensed Counselor from Wings of Hope. Each class includes all three components with both education and practice elements.
