Giving to Wings of Hope

Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center is very fortunate to have the financial support of individuals, organizations and corporations from throughout Southwest Iowa. This community support greatly enhances our ability to offer cancer patients and survivors worthwhile programming that improves their quality of life.

If you are considering giving to Wings of Hope, please remember that your gift goes to a wonderful cause: our mission of providing emotional support and guidance for patients, family members, and health professionals as they move forward in their cancer experience.

A gift of any amount is truly valued and appreciated. Also, check with your company to see if it sponsors a matching gifts program. A matching gifts program is a company-sponsored benefit that doubles or even triples an employee's gift to Wings of Hope by matching his or her contribution.

Annual Campaign and Fund-raising Events

Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center hosts an annual giving campaign, as well as three major fund-raisers each year: a Golf Outing; Bike Ride and Walk; and a Winter Dinner Event and Auction. All of these events are critical to raising the necessary funds that allow us to provide quality programming to cancer patients, survivors and their families. Please consider these programs as you plan your charitable contributions this year.

Donations

The programs offered through Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center are funded primarily through the generous donations of individuals and groups.

Your donation could sponsor a support group meeting, allow a family to receive counseling services, or help pay for the newsletter. We thank you for considering making a donation to Wings of Hope Cancer Support Center.

4H Girls donate heart pillows

The Council Bluffs Altrusa Club has a received a $2000 grant from Altrusa International.

They are using the money to purchase and make items for our Hope Chest Renewal Room. Below are pictures of the Altrusa Club making neck wraps and seat belt covers.
